Training
Training depends on four things: the training type, the coach and assistants, the minutes played in the week and the position they were played in.
How much each position trains
- In the official manual's table: no brackets means full effect, brackets half, double brackets "osmosis" (about 1/6).
- At most 90 minutes a week: if a player has played several matches or positions, the minutes that train him most are chosen.
- A player who does not play even one full minute (e.g. sent off right after coming on) gets no training, form or experience.
Intensity, stamina and tricks
Specific training = intensity − intensity × stamina share
- The harder you train, the better the team's form.
- When training set pieces, the keeper and the set pieces taker get +25% (at most 1 extra level).
- A new signing does not bring the training from matches played elsewhere; for stamina he counts as 0 minutes (50%).
- The team spirit trick: lowering intensity before the update preceding training raises team spirit, but then form and spirit drop.
- Since 2024 there is a small risk of bruising in training, only for players who played and for one player at most.
- The coach's level does not change the stamina share: only age, share and minutes played count.
